In the middle of wedding season, so the work is piling up. I’d kinda forgotten about this blog over the long cold nights of winter. But i’ll upload some foto’s of this summers weddings pretty soon. It’s been a mad season. Seen everything from singing chef’s to didle-de-dee bands playing King’s Of Leon. Will get them pics uploaded soon.
It was a crisp but sunny day at Anne Shannon’s wedding. Speeches and karyoke made the dinner time entertainment very lively. Here’s a few snaps from the day. If you spot yourself shout out, maybe you’ll be in the wedding video.

What do you think about winter weddings? Would you like the thought of getting married in a cold frosty December or January, perhaps with a twinkling of sunlight early in the day? Well you could get that kind of weather from Feb- May anyway. Have a look at these romantic winter wedding videos to see how magnificent they can be if you get the right venue.

What do you think about speeches? Should speeches be kept to a minimum or would you prefer longer speeches full of yarns, albeit if the speakers are funny. There’s nothing worse that someone blabbing along thinking they’re funny when they are not.
Or what about the nerves? Some folks don’t like the limelight and get real jittery over public speaking. I think the trick here is to keep everything to a minimum and get the entertainment started. Whatever you prepare there will always be an internet speech or you tube video for to pilfer the best bits off.
What’s the best colour for bridesmaids dresses? Or is there such a thing as ‘the best’ colour anyway?
Traditionally when the wedding invitations went out a snippet of color or a ribboned card would reveal what the clour of the bridesmaids dresses and theme of the wedding would be. But many brides don’t want to let the cat out of the bag and want to keep everything under wraps until the big day.
I think i like this option myself, better to keep everything hush so you can guauge the guests reactions when the day arrives. What do you think?

The weather may not have been up to much at Caoilin & Connor’s wedding, but that didn’t dampen the spirits one bit. A large congregation made it to Brackaville chapel, and then onto The Glenavon Hotel in Cookstown. Didn’t get much snaps on the day due to the dark murky lighting conditions, my little pocket compact couldn’t cope, but here’s a few.
What a gorgeous day it was for Michelle Bonner’s wedding on Friday 10th September. The sun came out just before the wedding in Killygordon at 12 noon. Here’s a few snaps from the day.
